For Sale: 1971 750 Norton Commando. COMPLETELY rebuilt from the frame up by the founder of (CNW) ¡§Colorado Norton Works¡¨; Doug McCadam. Doug sold CNW and has scaled down his pace to two bikes a year under his new brand called, ¡§Doug¡¦s Nortons.¡¨ Please feel free to call me for Doug's email address for any questions you may have about this bike. Doug has also done ALL of the subsequent service on this bike in Dolores, Colorado. This bike has been thoroughly upgraded per the standard ¡§Doug¡¦s Nortons¡¨ formula that addresses all the Commando engineering shortcomings, as well as eliminating many tedious maintenance procedures. She has $8,800.00 just in new modifications and parts!

Low miles; approximately 6,500 miles.

Upgraded Norton-Lockheed front chrome disc brake with modern Nissin 13mm master cylinder.
Sealed steel gas tank with rebuilt gas cap.
Polished Stainless Mark 3 isolastic conversion.
Stainless and seamless pea-shooter mufflers.
K&N air filter.
AMR modified and rebuilt twin Amal carburetors with Mikuni chrome/brass slides.
Custom LED tail light.
¡§Compac¡¨ soft saddle bags (quick & easy removing.)
Almost new Bridgestone tires.
New sealed battery.
All stainless steel fasteners.
Chrome Hagon rear shocks.
Totally upgraded forks with progressive fork springs, improved dampening, and leak-proof seals.

what a great bike

i had a 69 Norton 750 commando while i was in the Marines,guess i should of kept it.

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN
