are what i reload and carry in both my 9mm's and my .45 ACP

These both (6 & 7) look impressive, Shakleford. I've never been a fan of 147 gr 9 mm's, but #7 looks great. What's the velocity of each of these?

No shooting for me today. About 3" of fresh snow overnite, on top of what was left of 12" from 4 days ago. At least, it's 34 today, up from 19 yesterday. Fuck winter!

Glad we could be of help. Is target their main interest, home defense or Concealed Carry? If all of the above then The G19 is a good overall gun, which I carry.
The G17 or 34 I believe are great 9mm target guns. Or is it the G36 anyways they make ported models also, which lessen the perceived recoil.

Hey Sam, today was good. I went to a gun show and fondled alot of nice things. It was fun.

Seems like we only get very much snow about every 3 years. Last year there was very little (just the way I like it). We got a lot more around Philadelphia. After I retired in 2007, an old friend told me I could come to St. Paul, MN & work full time for him. For a couple of hours I felt good about the offer, since I liked him & would have liked the job. Then I thought of Minneapolis & St. Paul in the winter - I called him back & turned the offer down.

Federal Tactical HST's are always the most awesome in expansion from what I have used. I would recomend the +P version of this verion though.

ammo to go has 165gr. and 180gr. HST in .40 right now. two boxes of 165 gr. just arrived on my doorstep yesterday afternoon. $25 for 50rds! I buy this stuff every chance I get because its getting harder and harder to find. I also like the Win Ranger SXT's. You might want to check, they probably have some HST in 9mm also, if not, they have great prices on LE Hydra shoks ($25 for 50 rds. vs. $20 for 25rds. in stores). Corbon's DPX load flowers/talons the same as HST also and has a little deeper penetration, but its a little more expensive.

What did you shoot them into? You have very good photos of each. I just bought some Hornady 115gr Critical Denfence. Hornady claims 100% expantion through Heavy clothing.
