Yes it is a M1919

.30 caliber belt fed machine gun. I would personally love to fire one.

Oh yeah everyone that loves guns wants to fire the M2. I could say that the M2 and the 1919 look a lot similar also. The 1919 look like a miniature ma deuce lol!

We found one with about 2k rounds of .30-06 AP in cache site along with a bunch of Enfields and what I think is an old Swiss or German anti-tank rifle. We didn't have any CLP and it was getting very sluggish, but that 1919 fired all that ammo. It was really cool to mount an old US machine gun to the pintle mount on an uparmored HMMWV
