Any AZ members get this?

I saw this on an Arizona Powerstroke forum I'm a member of. Anybody get this?

If so, here are some numbers for you to shove back at her.

Salaries:
Speaker of the House - 223,500/year
Minority and majority leaders in the house and senate - 193,400/year
Rank and file representatives and senators - 174,000/year
Total annual salary, House and Senate - $93,117,100
Five percent of that - $4,655,855
Current national deficit as of noon, 27 March 2010 - $12,695,232,195,046 (estimated)

So she wants to throw 4.6 MILLION to try and help pay down 12.6 TRILLION. Voting down two or three pork-laced spending bills a session would be worth many times what she's proposing. It's all style, no substance and she should be told as much

And by the way

She's giving back a whopping 8700 bucks a year, still giving her over 165k/year.

All three still voted for it.. sorry Ann your going to be out of a job so it doesn't matter..

The whole point is to get rid of those incumbents who voted for the bill.. I've found out even more about it.. 2K pages, will be finding out stuff for months.. The employee is now responsible for all the taxes paid by the employer on medical plans copay, this is per CNN and the daughter who's a CPA..This is going to be (for those who have employee copay ins) a big cost, and on top of that thier saying all ins co's are going to have record breaking increases.. The other working daughter who does not have co payed ins..(doesn't have ins period by choice) says her employer is really scared and might have to lay off staff.

a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.

In direct violation of law, there have been 221 anonymous requests for funding by members of the House and Senate. Most are military-related, and while I see nothing wrong with military spending, I do see a problem with anonymous requests. but here are a few of the budget requests that I'm not so sure of.

116 million - UN Democracy Fund
5 million - Tuba City cleanup (Not sure what this is for exactly)
6 million - Asia Foundation. Really? Like Asian nations aren't able to take care of themselves?
15 million - International fund for Ireland. Can't the EU take care of Ireland?
35 million - National endowment for democracy.
30 million - UN population fund. So we're contributing 30 million to study the world's population so we can reduce deaths from disease in poor countries? Why not provide 30 million in real aid to them if we're going to waste the fucking money anyway? Besides, giving any money to the UN is like giving cash to a homeless guy and expecting him to use it for anything but booze or drugs.

So let's say we take just these few, cut them in half for this year, and put the rest toward the deficit. That's over 103 million dollars from six illegally requested projects compared to the whopping 4.6 million this Kirkpatrick chick is talking about.

Now I have looked her up and she seems to be one of the more fiscally conservative reps in this state. Her name isn't on everything under the sun like Giffords, but I still think a letter like this is an insult to the intelligence of the people in her district.
