Beautiful leather work.. this is really a special saddle and a wonderful job.. testament to the first class leather work still being done..agree with pard about the scabbard, in the past they actually weren't that uncommon amung a lot of the old timers.. who always had them fork mounted..Not so much anymore.. boy this is nice...
The carry drill was to pad lock the piece thru the trigger guard, to wheel or what ever you could find when you had to go inside.. sportys have (least had) a matching pad eye on down tube and forks, so you just got a longer padlock.. big twins you used the wheel or about anything if you didn't have wires..
Every once in awhile you would see some tramp toasted enough to forget, and to try to ride off without taking the padlock off. This always resulted in having to buy the house, and some sheet metal damage..It's always a "high side" fall.. so time for new pipes.. Thanks for the post Sam..
Lucky thanks for remembering that sign that didn't have one hole in it..

for the sporty, they have integrated a lock there now, same key as the ignition.I still have my padlock from my old sporty,it would still make a hell of a knot on some fools head too.Use to carry a chunk of chain around with that lock on it,for security purposes.
that is one fine ass seat tho
i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it,

Hate that lucky.. same thing with wiring change that makes it near impossible to turn the headlights "off" when you first turn on the ignition.. that was great if the battery was low.. Not to take the top off.. and now every Rubie you see has thier lights on all the time..
Lucky, and others know this.. If you see a scoot with the head lights off its a real biker.. the newer evos, think from like around 90 on can't be changed easily, and it's just not done anymore.. Ok enough living in the past..
I really want to jump into the 308 conversation, and the political thread.. but NOOOOO.. seriously my baby just called.. Love ya all like bro's but your damn well second to food..
least when im hungry..... ah shit maybe not even then, but im going to keep peace and harmony...

The first time he left the bike, he would need to do one of two things:
1. Leave the bullets on the seat, in which case they will be gone
when he returned.
2. Remove the bullets each time he left the bike...no very realistic.
(I am assuming he is taking the gun everytime)
Note. I love the pic though and did anybody notice the Sheriff's
vehicle in the background?

I like the seat!

A real saddle on an iron horse!
A long scabbard on the other side for a model 94 and it's perfect.
