we just don't see that heat up here,maybe 10 days of +90,we have had august temps in the upper 40s for highs,right now it's about 80 with 75% humidity,which sucks too,lol.Time to bring on the cold.

know how you guy's stand it, maybe I have just lived in the desert too long. Seven years in Houston was enough humidity for me.

Pard, yep now i got ya.. read the response, i was thinking you were talking about the old single compressors we called one lungr's..
anyway on Sams asphault thing above.. i can tell you i discovered that you don't park a scoot on black top in AZ.. First time i did the kickstand went thru and the bike went over.. I had only been off it for about 20 min, but long enough for it to go over on me..

that tickled me.. actually thought you were talking about old single cylinders.. we usta call them "one lungers" .. one of the old tractors had the out of balance firing cycle that harleys have and sounded just like one at idle.. Don't know if that was Masseys or what.. i do know it had the cylinders laying down opposed to each other..

i had a similar experiance when i was like 12 .. a kid up the streets dad had a high power chain saw motor, and i had a mini bike with a little flat head lawn mower engine.. this would have been 1960 maybe.. we swaped them out.. the chain saw bolted right in, but it drove on the other side so we had to turn the rear axle around to get the gears to line up...they did but when we turned the axle we lost the brake that was mounted on the side that was now the drive gear...this thing only had a rear brake to start with, and now had nothing... cept a big ass chain saw engine...
YEP... sure did.. got to screaming about 25.. it was sorta a dog till the cams came on, and the fork stated to raise off the ground...i got it stoped by running it up on a neighbors yard, he came out and helped me get it back to my friends house .. that kid is now crying.. we both thought we were going to get shot... man when the power came in i will never forget the feeling of those forks coming up.. my palms are sweating telling you guys this..

actaully started that as "my" and thought it might get ya all excited so changed to our.. Good that you got her that XT.. so is it a 4wd that you can use as well... or just a pavement go fast thing... roads.. yeah we sorta have them here in az...
