For people that like to l ive on the edge.
You can carry it, you can pull it, but you never know if it will fire. Exciting isn't it. For real protection get a Glock or anything else.
Funny, I've put several thousand rounds thru mine and it hasn't misfired once. I bought it used, no idea how many rounds were fired before. I'd say a carbine that's easy to carry, shoots a 2" group at 50 yards, has a lifetime guarantee even if you aren't the original owner, backed up by an AMERICAN company and cost $140 is a pretty darned good deal. LOaded with ten 147 winchester Silvertip HP's it makes a healthy home defense weapon. I've dropped mine in the sand, washed it off with water from a canteen and shot the sucker the rest of the day. I clean it every 500 rounds or so but have gone much longer without. It's one of the most enjoyable guns I've ever shot. It's so fugly that it's cool. I always have people ask to shoot it and my piece of crap lil carbine has gotten several kids hooked on shooting. Metal siloettes are a blast with an HP! The 16 inch barrel gives a 115 grain a lot more pizazz than a pistol and it will reach out a lot farther. Now, it's not a big expensive gun but, you don't cringe when it bumps and scratches either. You can laugh at Hi Points all day long but, would ya stand in front of mine and laugh while I pulled the trigger and bet it wouldn't fire?

Why is Hi Point so cheap?
Has to be cheap material.
I don't want a gun made out of cheap
material no matter how it shoots.
Ever seen someone who was holding
a gun that blew up? Not pretty
Life time warranty ? who's lifetime?
Thanks but no thanks.
