I like this

I like to see equipment of all kinds from the past restored. Maybe it's a plane, like this, or a WWII Jeep or Power Wagon or artillery piece, or LST, then maybe it's an old piece of farm machinery from back when I was young (or even from when my father or grandfather was), or an old car or truck, or some piece of equipment that was used in the home years & years ago. I wish I had the stuff that was on my grandpa's farm when I was little, some of which was old even then. I try to pass on to my kids & grandkids some of the heritage from our family's past. Sometimes it's hard - the person to whom you try to pass it on may, or may not have any interest in the past. Sometimes you find fallow ground, sometimes you don't.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).
