beautiful San Joaquin Valley. I've not been following it on the Weather Channel.
You guys get much rain and there is an old lake bed that begins filling up. Most of the time it is just a shitty and useless mineral covered expanse of crappy dirt.
How did you know DC, did you used to live here? Too hot during the summer, too foggy during winter/spring. The wind changes direction and all you smell is manure!

There is one area that does a lot of citrus packing. The smell from that place as you drive by on the 99 fwy is just putrid. Actually two places, one on the way to Fresno, and one on the way to Bakersfield. We are currently getting ready to move back to So. Cal so we can be closer to our parents that are getting older now. Like in my profile, I only moved to the Central Valley to get away from LA so I wouldn't have to work so much, and we would be closer to the National Parks. Now we are moving back.

DC. I have been divorced from that she-devil for over 26 years. When I went to her house to see the grandchild ( I had my 3 kids with me) she found out a way to work up a conversation that allowed her to call me an asshole in front of my kids. I had a talk with my kids afterwards and asked them how they felt about it. They thought she was an idiot. 26 years, she still loves me and hates me! That's the best part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Tule fog is a bitch. I don't mind it so much but, I don't like my wife driving in it. She needs laser surgery on her eyes. I will at least for a little while be in the Santa Clarita area. Where did you live and when?

The first spring I lived in Visalia, I was on the way to Fresno for a service call, got kicked off the freeway early by CHP and really didn't think much about it until I found out almost 100 cars were involved in a single fog related accident! I was sure glad I wasn't out earlier working, could have been involved myself!

You win then, when she don't matter, and the kids know how she is, You win!

Exactly, the kids and I laughed about it all the way home, I told my Dad what that bitch had said. He goes to the same church as her.

I momentarily revived your "best shot" post.
It took some thinking to get it down to one!
If you want to hear em, I got some nice ones. all true.
