This picture is from site that is copyright by Bul Ltd. Ryo and little brother make use of it only for illustration and for no personal profit or gain.
This is a picture of the pistol that pops bought for Ryo, Ryu and our friend Gary kun, for all the work we have put in on the design team. These are extremely powerful, and we think very beautiful pistols.
The following specs are from the Bul 5 company and so they can be counted on to be reliable.
I mentioned something to your father about another mfg's auto being at least close to being the final evolution of the automatic pistol. I stand corrected, it's beautiful, and imagine until other optics, and or loads are introducted this is the final evolution of the 1911.
I was thinking you guys were lucky to have Pop's, then thinking about the great relationship i had with my dad (lost him in 96, and think about him every day) Guessing he feels he's the lucky one. Stay stong always.. greg
a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.

will say again. these newer rounds were developed from old 70s company that mostly not exist anymore. devel and ricci and few other, winchester too, and steyr still around demo, what ryo use are middle weight rounds of the modern ones from places like IWI and Beretta and few mom and pop operation like Bul ltd. for example IWI makes the standard 9mm x 19mm and the 9mm x 21mm and just recent they added a 9mm x 23mm and 9mm x 23mmSP. Bul and few other very small company make limited amounts of these, demo those are the best. the IWI 9mm x 21mm standard is sorta the yardstick by which they measure. it, if ryo recall correct, is a 124 grain weight and have MV of about 400 meter per second and energy about 570 joule. the weights today go anywhere from light light 115 grain load up to very heavy 250 grain load. ryo like lighter load. have two case at home. one is the 140 grain weight and the other is 160 grain. ryo like them both. for example with 9mm x 23mmSP with 160 grain weight, ryo can get about 750 to 800 meter per second and about 1000 to 1200 joule so they just about twice as powerful as the 9mm x 21mm standard size yardstick with 124 grain weight.
hope this answer your question again.
weights of the 9mm rounds ryo use for the Bul M5 Ultimate Racer can be found. hope the answer above is satisfactory for you. if need more information ryo will be happy to accomodate you as best can. also ryo make post to you in nother topic about a url you might enjoy looking through all about RD Burns san, custom built 1911 class pistol neh. hope you enjoy comments there and also when read the information on that site, you will keep what ryo say about Burns san in mind.
