When I see a sign barring gun owners with a concealed carry permit to carry their piece into a store, I contact the manager and tell him or her I will not shop in the store. If all gun owners, licensed or not, they might get the message.

If someone went crazy in the store, pulled out a gun to do harm and a law abiding citizen happened to wander near, was in the store, etc, saw the situation, pulled out a concealed weapon and neutralized the situation...I wonder if they would change their policy??? What do you think?

let me play devils advocate on this one. for instance i went to the gun shop one day and a man and his wife were shopping for a gun, and the husband says he's looking for a gun for his wife small enough that she could take it to the beach. My first thought was.Why would you take a gun to the beach????Are times that rough out there?I believe there are too many idiots out there that it makes allot of law abiding gun owners look bad.

1.Not a Gap shopper, but I ignore signs like this...they have no legal bearing, and it would only become an issue if someone saw the gun. If someone sees the gun either I have screwed up in my concealment (my fault, go on and kick me out of your store, hippy) or I have bigger fish to fry (ie, the gun came out for a damn good reason).

2. As for the beach.....the beach is just as dangerous as anywhere else. How many of us carry guns to church? or for a quick trip to the gas station? if you could pack but instead choose to go anywhere unarmed, as Big Dave says, you may as well say "baaahh baaaahh (sheep)" as well. I even carry a pistol IWB when I work out at the gym. Granted, my occupation makes sudden unpleasant encounters more likely than most, but even if I were 'just' a civilian (HATE the distinction), I'd still pack everywhere I could. I don't carry a gun in bed or in the shower, but there's damn sure one within reach. Some say 'paranoid', I say 'prepared'. I tell my wife the Mini-14 behind the bathroom door is in case I hafta fight off an angry turd.

3.Pkato, I don't think it would change their policy. Several instances of lawful CCW resolution to violent incidents have not changed these policies, and in most cases make the hippy lawyer-happy corporations get even more anti-gun in their restrictions.

Dropped my app off at lunch today. 30-90 day turn around. Need to go shopping for a new more easily concealed gun and rig. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If there is a sign banning guns in the window I don't frequent those establishments.

what they say about opinions..........I have a Walther PPS in 9mm, it is a very slim pistol that is very comfortable and easy to conceal, it comes with two interchangable back straps, one fat and one thin which will accommodate almost anyone, I had to buy two 8rd mags to get the length of the grip that I needed as the factory 6rd was too short for me. There are a lot of different pistols out there but IMO the Walther is at least worth a look.

I like my G-26 IWB setup. HampsterW says, "Walther PPS in 9mm, it is a very slim pistol that is very comfortable and easy to conceal", Sounds like his setup is more comfortable than mine.
The G-26 is thicker. has a ten round Mag, and I carry a 15 round mag. on my side.
so I got him on rounds, but he has the comfort!!

I would advertise, to those CCW folkes, when you carry in my establishment, you are welcome to 10% discount, just show your Water/Wateress your CCW, and Piece. If you don't like guns we charge 20% extra!! Have guns hanging on the walls,(like HardRock has Guitars). Viedos, I think I'm on to somethi'n.
Hellsakes Kids we could have a menue, with all kinds of Gun Names, calibers, ect.ect.

I'v had several bouts with them!! My second time I was given Tordol, no results, Moiphine, no results, Second shot of morphine finly took the sharp off the pain. A day later Lythrotripsy.
They put me in a vat of water and blast them with sound waves, you wake up, with 3 tubes sticking out of your DICK!!! 2 goi'n to the kednys and one stop'n in the bladder.

theres one somewhere in florida in between st. augustine and jacksonville i believe. it been about 15years sence i was there but the food was good. but no real roadkill. the dishes where made to look like it though and really good too. as for the guns i like the idea wont ever have to worry about getting robbed if you do.oh well theres about 10 or 20 people to back you up. wheres he going? NO WHERE!
