I used to stop sometimes in this gay bar in Fort Worth after work to get a cold beer and some laughs from watching the regulars. The guys were mostly just disgusting, but the lesbians were a hoot. The butches (a.k.a. bull dykes) were VERY protective and possessive of their girl friends (wives/whatever). When they would fight it was no holds barred, and totally vicious. They'd use fists, chairs, broken beer bottles, knives - anything they could grab. You had to watch out when the loser went outside, though. Sometimes they'd come back in with a gun and start firing as soon as they were inside the door.
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

Maybe they went at each other and it ended in a draw! Neither was satisfied.
