Just as i come to our little Internet home away from home.. Bearmeat leaves (i miss the action) The great az blow job of 2010 (our beloved leader Sams phrase) sends the sat dish into the next county, and i miss Ryogate.. We have the g-kids up for the weekend and i miss this clown (couple of you were good enough to send pm's as a heads up) I come on late tonight only to miss the action..
I feel like i paid money in Lewiston Main to watch Liston and Clay and turned around for a second.. Wow showing my age..ok trivia..when did that fight happen im going to guess it was 1966.

Sonny Liston was what, the 5 to 1 favorite or something.. maybe im naive.. but i think it was a straight up fight...remember all the replays..the phantom punch stuff.. Somehow I think it was on the level, if only due to the fact that they would have drug it out longer if it was fake.. Why cause all the controversy by doing it in the first round.. Shows what geezers we are to remember it..

Remember Mike Spinks.. Both the Spinks brothers did ok.. but Mike had his front teeth knocked out, had a set of false teeth made with that "ultimate" of fashion statements.. diamonds in them... anyway..The night after he won the title.. and i can't remember who he fought.. anyway he had himself a "professional women" to entertain him .. and it has to go down as one of the best press conferences in modern sports.. This was back in the early 80's and we still a degree of censorship in the media.. but the quote from Mike was.. "that whore stole my grill"...this of course standing in front of cameras and microphones with a huge gap in his mouth where the diamonds had been... And you guys ask me why i love the fight game...

and as Vaq said.. sure give you the best spots in the camp ground.. Just to show how weird i am, i spent about 20 min this afternoon drawing up plans for the crazy thing.. you said you would use ox bottles right.. so i figured..ok no weight there.. Next thing was a mount.. came up with a simple deal that looks sorta like an idler arm for elevation, and swivel with an outer ring (chase) that has holes in it so you could put a bolt thru it to lock into position..figured you would have it facing aft driving so no wind resistance.. telling you buddy this is do-able.. REAL strange but again its do-able..
