This is the one that I am trying to buy, if I can make a deal...
Staying warm, I hope. I am trying to buy this one to replace the first one I had 54 yrs ago...
when I was in College. Found it in a gun shop in a little town along the Delaware river on the New Jersey side, up toward the Pocono mountains. It was hi tech for me, since I had just come back from the Civil War!!! LOL
these old mossbergs are good guns
The 352 is a good sized gun, also. I have a weakness for carbines. The 352 is really handy & maneuverable, & I think Mossbergs have always been good shooters. Remember the 152LSB? They were tackdrivers, like the Winchester 52 (but not nearly as valuable).
hey guy how did you get so darn smart ?
I had a 22LR a long long time ago, got stolen, can't remember what it was but you loaded it from the stock and it was a carbine
Any help out there ?
Marlin they were tubular fed from under the barrel
nope not a Marlin, I'll remember soon, bad memory from brain dammage in a car wreck
It was a Browning
Cant stay long, im half asleep as it is, just wanted to stop in and see what was up with you all. See i missed Sammy, that wozz fall asleep did he.. Hey the mossy shown reminds me of one i had, but mine had a hinge on the fore stock, and you could swing it down 90 degrees, like the front grip of a tommy gun. Anybody remmeber this, or am i halucinating (sp!) again,
The forearm swings down. It was my first!
Adios amigos y buenos noches.
I was just heading off myself. I don't remember mine having a diffrent color forearm, but that could be a model change deal. my swivels were underneith as well, but i like those shown Sam, has a real M1carbine look this way.. My first was a Stevens single shot. also a pistol grip, loved that little rifle, and sure wish i still had it.. Remember buying a box of 22 shorts and shooting all day, i wonder if you can even buy longs anymore unless at a gun show?
Bought it for $99.00 Waited til last minute to bid and no one else bid. No reserve and a starting price of $99. I haven't seen one go for less than $150 in a year. Patience is a virtue...
Great deal, and a gun you want, happy for you.. Gota go and buy batterys for the truck. I see Schuyler is on, he has the same Chevy diesel i have. Duramax (mine's an 05) im replacing OEM batterys on this afternoon (walmart 75 ea), love the truck but ya gota buy two batters at a time with disel, and i better get going or it wont get done.. see you guys later..
so looks like I got a coupla years. Tricky to change. unhook one battery and you still have juice flowing. Awkward to change because the batteries are so high up you can't get much leverage.
