Good round, but hard to come by and expensive if you do. Ever heard of the .307 Win? Not many people have. A buddy of mine has a lever action in .307 Win. Says it's a great cartridge, but never took off. Now he has a hard time finding it, and when he does, he pays through the nose. I suggested reloading.
nice.....Im gonna have to add this monkey to my trunk monkey collection...got my trunk monkey and now my sniper trunk monkey...thinkin about getting a ww2 rifle aswell......found some for 200's at the local store....not sure what they are, either mosin's, or enfields...which would yall prefer?

I like 1903's and good mausers like 98ks the best, but enfields, nagants, and arisakas are good shooters. The nagants are the most plentiful right now.

'03 springfield. Yeah, that would be tops for me. Mauser k98 is on the list. SMLE wouldn't be bad. And now that I know how inexpensive the 91/30 is, I might just go pick one up.

Well, if you're going to arm a monkey, that's a good one to use.

I'd rather have the Enfield. But I just like it and its history. I think, for the price, the Mosin is a better value.
