Cobra Patriot 45 acp STAY AWAY Piece of Dog Feces

Cobra Patriot 45 acp STAY AWAY Piece of Dog Feces

I purchased this Cobra 45 because I wanted a light 45 for hiking. I know it was a cheap gun but I did not expect to fire the gun more than a few times a year. Did not want to walk through the woods with my heavy expensive Kimber. Just a precaution gun which could get scraped up without concern.
The gun does not fire. NO BANG......Sent the gun back to the factory and agian NO BANG. Sent it back a third time and it went bang! Only once. Its a 45 acp muzzleloader. Sending it back yet again.
Cobra arms has many excuses such as
"winchester primers are hard causing the light strikes" , "your magazine may not be working properly" , "omly use american eagle ammunition"...............
By the way the mags are 1911 standard mags.....what a waste of 300 bucks.
Hopefully they will fix it but if you see one stay away

Cobra arms,

that's the outfit located here in SLC, I guess that I will steer clear of their stuff, I have heard other negative feedback as well.

Yep, genuine junk.
That's bullshit about Winchester primers being hard. Sometimes people have problems with CCI primers, but not Winchesters. Federal are easy to ignite.
A guaranteed fix to the problem is a cutting torch.

I've been told their

I've been told their derringers are ok but I'n not about to buy one. The only person who has ever told me they are good guns came up to me a few weeks ago and said he was going to get rid of his because it jammed every 2 or three rounds even when using the american eagle ammo reccomended by the manufacturer.

Nothing is as risky as certain failure.

Cobra is sending me a 9mm Patriot at no charge. Lets see if it goes bang (unlike the 45 Patriot).

Sorta sounds like your saying thier sending this to you gratis.. Is that the case or is this one of those you send the 45 back and will send you the 9.. One way or another thanks for keeping us posted..

I carried a little charter arms stainless 38 when i was doing a lot of backpacking.. Never had to pull it out of the pack. (had an outside pocket on my back pack that it fit perfect) But can't tell you how many times i was comforted knowing it was there.. Start hearing noises in the middle of the night and you can talk your self into being scared pretty easy.. least i could..

They have the 45 which the have no parts for. They will get me a 9mm until they have a part for the gun. If it works I am gonna keep it.
