My granny has a nice Yamaha round body Guitar. I cant play a guitar but I love to atleast try once in a while. And my buddy has a mandolin just like the one in the chair there. This has to be the best pic ive seen uploaded today in my view. Thanks for posting it!
worst ex (2nd) is moving to MN.....Lol!.........Very nice collection, I wiped out on my GS500 a few years ago and fucked up the little finger on my left hand, now I am left with a hook instead of a pinky, no guitar playing for me!
Im not sure I follow what you mean by "wiped out". Do ya mean ya caught ya finger in the strings?
move the hell outa state, lucky you. yeah my bike wreck in 2005 slowed down my left hand a bit,and not in a good way,but i still play, just don't shred like randy rhoades
I am right handed so I can still shoot.....lol
Good looking collection Jerry, Wish I would have picked up a banjo & mandolin when I was young, before all the injuries, broken bones & arthritis. Do you play much anymore?
I try but it's just not like it used to be.
if you can play 'dueling banjos' .........It's his favorite tune from 'deliverance'.
yeah Larry i play still,i have a 6 string banjo and a 5 string, play the 6 string just like a guitar, just like Keith Urban(i wish),i don't do much with the Dobro,i'd love to but can't find a teacher, but it is a hoot to mess around with,it's a Regal Black Lightning and it sounds top notch. My wife and i both play but she is a professional harpist and singer,so she likes the 12 string when she plays guitar, she has an electric harp that i can plug any stomp box i have into it from my electric guitar and get some great sounds.Right now i am concentrating on the Mandolin, those just sound neat and i really like bluegrass and celtic music, unless i get the itch for some AC/DC,then it's the Ibanez and a 60 amp,and about a half dozen stomp boxs.
A Harpist, I'm telling ya straight man I could listen to that all day long, Dobro, Mandolin, 5 string.
You got it made musically brother Jerry, way to go.
when she practices on one of her harps(she is an overachiever like me,she has 5),i soon turn into a couch potato,it's rough my friend.
i feel embarresed now. Well there is my moment of shame for the day. I will put my "Dumbass" hat on and sit on the stool in the corner lol
I won't hold it against 'ya.......I wonder if any ranges will be open tomorrow so I can go shoot 'the Judge' again..........Doubtful..... :-(
The only shootin I expect tomorrow will be people shootin there mouths off on who gets the wish bone in there respected turkey dinners lol since tomorrow is OFFICIAL TD lol. Our family had our dinner today and oh yeah it was awesome!!!!
I will be stuck with cooking duties tomorrow (which I don't mind).....But something inside me just hates to let a day off of work go without going shooting....
You know you could always take an emergency run for some more cranberry sauce or something.
& Boy folks, you would not believe how far I had to go to get it???? LOL
Bed time for bonzo, early call for this Geezer. Later.
only range "open" tomorrow is the west desert..........I am pretty sure I would be busted........cat on a tin roof...lol
That deliverance comment tickled me.. That sceen (the dueling banjos) sorta made the move, and far as im concerned best that Burt ever did..
Lucky thats interesting about your wife being a professional harpist.. Whats the story there (im serious) is that mostly funeral gigs, are with the orchestra or what.. Don't mean to pry but you sorta have the unusual profession locked up..
By the way ... on the chairs.. ok on the first is your Glock and K-bar.. Whats the cool blade on the second chair.. and (i got myself all tickled now) whats the deal with putting a lead pipe on the third chair.. You going to be posting pictures of baseball bats next.. just saying..
i never wanted to learn dueling banjos,to commercial,ha,anyway the wife plays weddings, funerals, nursing homes, hospitals and she is currently working on 3 CDs,kind of funny the recording studio is the guy that played organ for Prince,Dr.Fink, back in the purple rain days, nice guy.She also plays background music at banquets and such, whatever pays.
the knifes are nothing special,an Imperial M3 fighting knife,a Western Bowie(sharp!),and that's actually a SOG Vietnam Tomahawk not a pipe, shows you my photo skills, and the G26 is always around me( i love that gun)
ebear was mean to me today........(sniff, sniff!!)....He wouldn't let me 'drive'..........LMFAO!
Actually it sorta looks like a bit of a shootie magazine sticking out under it, and thought thats what it was.. What ever the second one is a great looking blade.. Time for bed.. Later friends..
