are you looking to buy an ar?i recently got a lower from sonju(si defence)a vietnam vet owned family run business in montana.sonju builds aircraft parts for our military ect.got a 7075 billet lower for about 250,sent it in for a custom matched upper(no slop)for another 200 or so,also from 7075 billet.sonju now offers 2 diferent lowers, gen 1we have all seen this type and gen 2 this type has a machined in winter type trigger guard and takes screws on the bolt relese,i belive it is slightly heavier, because i think it is slightly dimentionaly larger where it meets the upper half.i put a gen2 on my gen1 upper, but the lines match up verry well, and it has minimal movement when assembled.they sell complete rifles and carbines at a fair, but semi high price of aprox 900 or so,but you can easily build one yourself for around 700 if you shop around for parts.if you are interested the website is www.sonju.net happy hunting!...i went and looked at the website i gave you, and it seems all the complete rifles have gone way up to over 1000 now,but you can still buy the upper and lower mached sets for the same prices i listed.

I dont know why they called it that as opposed to AR's or what ever.. It was on tonight.. Direct TV channel nation wide (i believe they are all the same) is 271..

Not sure when they "premiered" the documentry. But i was really impressed.. All the usual back ground about the piece from old Eugene forward...

I've noticed a positive trend in "geek" TV.. Usta be you wouldn't find anything on weapons with out going to the Mil Channel... Now that's not the case. I think the breakthru might have been the popularity of old Gunny Lee, but for what its worth History, Discovery, Nat Geo, and History int.. all have great and weapon related subjects..

Matter of fact Lee was on before the AR show.. think it was called "ultimate bullets" .. watched the show, but not sure that's the title.. Another winner.. I didn't think i would see anything new but did hear one thing i was not aware of, and still a bit stumped by it..

Did you guys know that Mr Sniper.. Gunny Carlos did some of his work with a 50 bmg.. I thought all of his kills were either 30.06 or 7.62.. Nope according to this show old gunny used a 50 BMG round for one shot at least.. I found that fascinating.. from what rifle. sure no Barrett 40 years ago.. If this was anyone but Lee i would wonder about it..

I have two of these

one with the Molon Labe, and one with the Gadsden on one side and the 50 star on the other. I wanted the Gadsden/13 star, but he didn't have any in stock. I think I paid around $15 each if I can remember. Still haven't put one on the damn rifle. Trying to figure out how to do it without taking this damn free float rail off. It feels like I just put this sucker on.

Sorry, I just looked again... I have the INFIDEL and Gadsden/50 star covers. I'll post pics of them when I get a sec, or actually put one on my rifle. I still want the Gadsden/13 star too. Here is the site I bought them from. They engrave lowers too. No problems with the covers or shipping...

There is a pic of the Gadsden/13 star in this slide show...
