it started out as a mil spec 1911, so I have done pretty much everything you see.

1. extended guide rod
2. beaver tail
3. milled out origional sights and added adjustable night sights
4. new hammer
5. new trigger and trigger job
6. extended mag well
7. match barrel
8. pearl grips

Did you get the chamber honed/polished to feed better the hollow tips?

It makes me miss my LW Colt commander.

no, mine feeds hollows fine. The first couple hundred rounds I put through it, sometimes the last casing of the mag would stove pipe after discharge, but after I broke it in, it shoots flawless with all types of ammo.

I want to get "BMF" (Bad Mother F'er) engraved in the slide, like Samuel L Jackson had on his wallet in Pulp Fiction
