ya the original A1's could be a health hazard. they were ok, but they were put into use "in theater" way too quickly and were not prepared to be used in the kind of environment that they went to. my dad did not want anything to do with the one they issued him in Viet Nam. Once they took a different approach to the problem, things went better. With the issue of the A2's things started working out.
That is a cool pic huh?
If you do not stand behind our troops...please stand in front of them....
i am sure if you loaded a round in it, it would go bang! just wouldn't want to be the one pulling the trigger!
these are used to show soldiers, or anyone else for training, a simple way of seeing just how things work without having to tear it down.

look at the chamber cut away.... and look at the first two inches of barrel that are cut away. the bullet would frag and blow out the side of the barrel. hehe.. i'll try to get one of these and send it to you to try. then your next of kin can email me and tell me how that worked out for ya!
LOL

Almost all well known rifles and pistols by large military groups i.e. USA, Russia, Etc... Have cutaways to explain to the men and women how they work and what to clean. Can you fire them, NO as much as you see cutaway on the rifle the barrel is cut out as well. I have parts and pieces of cutaways, and all tell you not to even try to fire it.
Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future.
Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it.

Be cool to see if it would shoot a round or two.
