Dead Copperhead

The Judge IS a good snake gun. Found this guy at my blind. Just after this, another one rolled up. I was about to pop it as well, but it scooted into some thick brush by my blind.

Nah, season's over. This was just a trip to get my new 4 wheeler out there. It was messed up too. Another guy had been out the week before and found a rattle snake. So me and the kid get there and I warn him about paying attention for snakes. We got the 4 wheeler unloaded, rode up to the blind and stepped out and there was the snake. Then the 2nd rolled up, and I was thinking "WTF?, how bad is this." But I never saw any more after. But there was a gobbler real close. I never saw him, but he was loud.

I have some pictures from my trail cam. I'm going to post them soon, but the weekend I was there hunting turkey, I was in this area waiting and calling. Never saw anything. When I checked the pictures later, there was a turkey that came in an hour after I left. grrr. I had a bunch of turkey recently.

I'll get them eventually. ;)
