I agree completely. I had no idea that there were so many deep water rigs and producing wells. Since the wellheads are so deep, and nobody can see what's really happening down there, and no human can work down there, it seems to me that the world has been really lucky that something like this hasn't happened before.

Thats what they use the ROV's for

Rov's are little submarines that are remote controlled they use those. If you think about the oil companies are greedy do you really think they would let that oil go in the water on a regular basis. I mean come on the rigs right there in the picture are fixing the well. On a normal day those rigs are miles apart

Jeff, thanks for the first hand stuff. Yep, cancelled on Destin, Florida yesterday. I was supposed to be laying on a beautiful beach by this comming tuesday. I consider my bad luck to be miniscule compared to the residents of these areas.
Just a bad situation all around.

I live bout 2 hours from destin

I drive 4 hours to work for 28 days and then go home for 14 days. Now I will agree that the oil will mess up the beachs and that fishermen and women(I am not sexist) will be hurt by this but to stop drilling for 6 months will not put the oil back in the hole, it will not bring the fish, but what it will do is put us deeper in debt, cut down more cotton plants to print more money which will inflate us even more. Do not try to impress those TOFU farting enviromentalists. This is the first incident that I know that has been this bad like this, we need to keep drilling and pull away from foriegn oil( Yes I know that BP is british) the more we drill here, the less we buy from the terrorists.

Agreed with all...Obama is an asshat, he has already screwed
things up and I am talking Jimmy Carter screwed-up! I loved
