D'Holder "Mountain Man" Clip Blade

D'Holder "Mountain Man" Clip Blade

D'Holder "Mountain Man" Clip Blade

Another of my examples of a higher end custom D'Holder Knife produced by D'Alton Holder. The D'Holder "Mountain Man" Clip Blade has Maple Burl Handles with Fossilized Whale Rib and Brown German Amber spacers and Nickel-Silver Guard and Pommel that are beautifully engraved by Bruce Shaw. This hidden tang knife is made from 1/4" ATS-34 Stainless Steel. The mirror polished, hollow ground blade is 6 inches long and the overall length of this knife is 10 5/8 inches. The sheath, hand made and hand stamped by D'Holder, is adorned with an Oosic concho with "Berry Beads" and handsomely compliments this beautiful knife.

Would love to have it, but doubt I could afford it!

The buttcap and handle are really amazing....all my current customs are ugly/user knives, but I love art knives like Hossom, Maringer, etc.

Only thing is ... Where would you use it. No way you could carry it hunting, or camping, can you imagine what that beautiful leather (think id have to get rid of the concho with "Berry Beads") would look like after being used out side for awhile..Guessing this thing costs more money than i could get my hands on with out robbing a bank... This is one of those.. if i ever win the loto things.

So first off what did you get...what size..and hows the picture...

Now my deal is she thinks we need one, but about twenty reasons im thinking we don't !! Number 1 is the bucks.. were retired and fixed income, so thats just WAY to much money for us..The one we have is great..Plus we have a built in section in the wall that holds ours (36") its only 5 years old..and PERFECT picture... I cant find any of the new flat screens that will fit the opening.. Then you figure in the over 60 eyes.. I was routing for the wrong team half way thru the hokey game today.. Im like, honey we dont want, cant afford, need, or have room for a flat screen... This of course means will have one by next month... Laughing.. My baby puts up with a lot, and if she can figure out a way to pay for it.. Fine.. But I'm telling you i hope she starts thinking about something else..

By the way CW...im looking at my old Colt police..talk about narrow sights.. you can get about 8 or 9 sheets of paper in the rear notch..Makes me sympathetic to your SA sights..
