Disabling burst went a bit high

Disabling burst went a bit high

My lead gunner fired a disabling burst from his .50 into a car that didn't get over. Lesson learned: shoot low and let the rounds go up. The driver caught a biece of jacket from one of the rounds in the shoulder, but nothing serious. Lucky mofo, there

It looks like

Yeah, that round

went into the hood, skipped off the top of the engine block, through the firewall, and passed right between the guy and his old ass mother.

He pulled over initially, but he was going to fast and there was a big-ass IED crater, so he swerved onto the road to get around it, and the gunner up front thought he was a threat, so he fired a disabling burst and was about to light his ass up. Apparently taking a piece of a .50 to the shoulder is enough to make the guy say screw the crater.

Wasn't me

It was one of my soldiers. The one time I let one of the other team leaders take lead vehicle. My gunner was pissed for a while that she didn't get to shoot.
