is that a 145 on your AR there man?
sorry I'm new to conversing on the computer. But yes it's an elcan spectre. I hope to get it sighted in soon. I finished assembly not long ago but havent shot it yet.
I came across the spectre optics completly by accident
i am not in a hurry. i am pretty sure they were designed for use on an automatic rifle or machine gun, but its a good optic overall if its the same as the millspec ones in use today. can't say i wouldn't rather have an acog aimpoint or eothech on an AR though.
We will be at war on our Home Land
and there will be plenty of them on
Hell I know they are fun to shoot but
just out of my budget. You high rollers
have fun with them lol
The ar took me two years to come up with all the parts. Patience wasn't the virtue I was looking for.
The Trijicon I put on the HK but it may end up on something else before I'm done
I have to buy mine off the rack.
If I buy one it better have all I want on it then.
I still have iron sights on my 30-30
CW,scopes look out of place on a lever action
I hardly shoot over 100 yards with my Marlin
30-30 so iron sights do ok anyway.
My 1st .243 was a Browning BLR. A beautiful firearm with a rotating lug bolt head on a lever action. A scope was required to maximize the potential of the cartrige.
No, it didn't look quite right, but it shot very well out to 300 yd.
Somehow it takes away the romance of a lever action, but if it works then wasn't that the point?
