The first .50 cal sniper rifle

This was made up by Carlos Hathcock. Every Marine Company had these guns. His armorer made up the scope mount and Carlos took off his Unterl 10X scope and mounted it. This is what he made his 2500 yard kill with. They carried the tripod and mount, borrowed a patrol .50 and slapped the mount & scope on. Very smart man and Hero!
