I honestly dont think I could kill a bear UNLESS I was under attack. Just goin out one day to kill a Bear no I couldnt do it personally. But deer, squirrel, turkey yeah I can do that easy.

then leaving them where they drop.
Hunting is important in balancing the scale of animal population with the ability of the habitat to support those animals. Hunters can and do donate meat to needy families through a donation program, good use for extra food.
A % of The money spent for hunting licenses goes to conservation directly benefitting the game animals.
Over population and disease is far less humane way for animals to die than being bagged by a hunter.
Even if humans did not exist over population and disease would periodically wipe out some populations.

punching bags, LOL
I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat the flesh of a bear, I'm not too fond of deer unless the cook is a real expert at it. I'd bet that Jay is an expert at cooking wild game.

Bear meat! My wife daughter and my favorite meat! Yum. Not greasy like the old story goes but has plenty of fat usually, and it is greasy to handle. For the record, I basicly survive on wild game most of the year, and only shoot legal animals that I intend to eat as well as share w my neighbors and friends. Although I'm not a tree higher type I believe that animals are to be respected, and although I believe in my right as a predator to kill them they are essentially no different than us, they may look at us as food or danger much the same as we look at them.as far as being " expert " at cooking or hunting I am not I am quite lucky that I have a good friend to get me started and who I work with so we always hunt every possible weekend and rain days etc. super proud to finally get a bear w my beloved " black rifle". This bear was a couple+ hundreads of pounds not too big and not too small.fale w a perfect all black coat no scars ticks fleas etc bout a 60 yard shot as she moved up the hill away from me. I had the feeling a few times I was being watched and after turning to check behind me I tuned to se a tree stump had appeared on the hill , when I realized what it was I swum up my rifle and as soon as I did she moved, I pulled the trigger and after a short trot she gave two ferocious sounding roars before falling to the bottom of the hill where I found her. Greatest hunt I've had to date. I'm in love w this gun! Deer3 bear1 humans0 designed only for the " theatre of war" my ass liberals! Haha
