Four Year Old G-daughter Mack In Her Frog Goggles

Four Year Old G-daughter Mack In Her Frog Goggles

The kid came over with her Daddy today for just a few minutes. As they were leaving I went to the garage and got a very large Stag Beetle and gave to her. She's a bug-kid LOL. Anyway, she told me she's going to take it to school tomorrow. Damn I'd love to see the look on the teacher's face when Mack dumps that monster on the table :<)

Makenley. For a long time I got it wrong, once I signed her into the Dr's appt McKinley, like the 25th president, William McKinley. Her name is boring, Muh Ken Lee. That's why Grampa hung "Mack" on her. Just like her sister Casey,
When I 1st saw Casey in the hospital her Dad told me her name is Caselyn, Whoa hoss, gotta fix that LOL!! I hung Casey on her and it stuck.

Above her left eye close to the center of her forehead you can see a faint white scar. When she first began to walk she fell and hit her head on the fireplace hearth.

Our two..Gkids.. 5 and 8.. Both are super smart.. There visiting this weekend, so Gpaw has to be on his VERY best behaviour..yeah ok..The oldest was solid into bugs till she found out boys are cuter..

Had a bug "kit" till she started school and all the other little girls we're more into "justin B" than bugs, so now when they come to visit we have to run from the Bee's and such..

Been here for 7 years.. not once have we been stung by bee or wasp.. for some reason their just as docile as can be.. But now the once proud bug girl has to put up a HUGE fuss when she sees a bee.

home from town. Mack met me at the door and said "Here". Without thinking I reached out, she shoved an 18" and very dead, as in guts hanging out, snake into my hand.
I tossed it out into the corner of the yard thinking a cat would drag it off. Nope, Mack found it :<) They've been gone on a family vacation since Friday morning, can't wait to get them back.

Grew up hearing this story.. Guess Dad came home from School one day and his Mother had gone berserk on a snake.. Grandpa was a section foreman on the SF RR.. they had an old .22 rifle that was kept just inside the door.. Pop said they (the siblings) could hear ol Grandma "wailing" on this as they were heading home.. Important note.. stories all my life about how they grew up, and some of them will make you sympathetic to PETA.. Talking serious rough and wild..

Anyway Dad who was FAR from being any sorta animal rights type said he never felt any sorrier for one of the Lords creatures than that Snake, and they couldn't recover enough of it to tell what it was.. Makes a great story, but true.. course they were young and forensic anthropology wasn't around yet.. but guess they gave dear old Mom a wide berth for a few hours and Grandpa didn't say a WORD about the rifle being destroyed..

waiting for Daisy..

any of you "budding" intellectuals out there ever see or read "waiting for Guido".. (the Guido just "might" be misspelled lol) ... it's one of those pinkie finger in the air "artsy" things.. The whole thing centers on two guys sitting on a buss stop and their conversation about .. you don't want to know.. just know waiting for Daisy, and anything you've read till now is more relevant than waiting for that other guy..

Anyway im waiting for Daisy to wake up so i can tell him about SGN and the 1903's...

Nope, never read or saw it performed. I have trouble struggling through "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". I had to stick tooth picks under my fingernails to stay awake reading "Connecticut Yankee..."

So, what about a 1903 in SGN bubba? Did ya find a treasure?

Greg--It was/is:

"Waiting for Godot" and I do not agree with your characterization. BUT, do not despair because most people who attempt to interpret it and derive some meaning from it, are at wit's end to agree on anything. It's a good example of what students of the theatre called, "The Theatre of the Absurd".

"Laugh so hard, that even 'Sorrow' smiles at you. Live life so well, that even 'Death' loves to see you alive". (author unknown) "....would someone please show this poor asshole the way out of town?"....Avram Belinsky, the "Frisco Kid".

I can understand you not agreeing with my characterization on waiting for Godot.. I was guessing you could correct my title,. just another example of you having a half step on me.. which really sucks considering the whole decade plus thing..

So a couple things.. you and A watching AGT.? G and i watched the NY episode and wondered if your Son knew (i said he did, have my back buddy..) the ventriloquist comedian.. Second.. Check out the new SGN.. Remember the P-35 HiPower thread.. Seems Israel is selling off "FN" hi powers.. real McCoy FN browning with Israel markings.. 400 for VG and 500 for EX.. I'm thinking about it.. To the point that i will if you will.. NOT a case of "The Theatre of the Absurd" on this one..

Daisy.. "buba" .. i sir did not fall asleep.. ok i did.. but like a good friend waiting for you.. pick up a copy of SGN... dated June 4.. cover and LOT inside about the 03..

Guys... Got to scoot, be back later .. Pard can you stay up for once.. Sure enjoyed the "beav" last night while you were sleep'n.. MOOOOO.. sheesh..
