The GAT-Glass Assault Tool

The GAT-Glass Assault Tool

“The GAT will allow the operator to rapidly (and effortlessly) breach glass and gain access to high-risk environments while keeping both hands on their primary weapon platform with no effect to their weapon’s zero or combat readiness.”

The GAT is designed to penetrate car side and back window glass while enabling the operator to keep their hands on their weapon. It will also allow officers to defeat most cosmetic glass when responding to high risk missions such as active shooter or hostage rescue.”

“The GAT-Glass Assault Tool is a simple device that attaches to your weapon in seconds and that can penetrate glass with ease. We attached four to rifles in our Basic Swat course and students shot over 500 rounds with the devices attached. They did not come loose or change their zero.

Interesting concept, I wonder if there is an attachment for a suppressor?

Pkato, SamD: I do????

Nope. I use a site to convert bmp to jpg. That's easy. Just type it in google and any number of sites pop up. And I use this site to convert pdf files: http://www.primopdf.com/primoonline_response.aspx I've found that the 'embed code' on video works well here: There is a separate place for it when you upload a video. It works for YouTube and Vimeo vids just fine and my guess is it would work for other formats. The embed code works a lot better than just typing in the url. It looks pretty gnarly and is full of html code, but if you are sure to just copy the whole mess it should paste right in. Hope this helps.

If you mean something else by "encode video" just explain and I'll try to dig something up.

Maybe some agencies might put this to good use.. Thing is they hit all the "buzz" words with thier marketing, and you can bet that thier depending on arm chair commandos to make this thing profitable..

Not to take anything away from old Paul here.. but when you take out all of the "whiz bang, danger ranger, OPERATOR" lingo.. you wind up with 80 bucks spent for the same thing a rock can do..

Greg, I was

thinking the same thing, but seeing how this guy is respected
I just held back, but yeah...I agree 100%. When I first saw it
I was like...Wow, something else I can hang on the AR that I
will never use. Thanks for pointing it out first. It's like back in
school, when you want to say something, but you are just waiting
and hoping someone else says it first. Thanks. I am sure there
would be times someone might actually find it handy, but come
on...
