Why do you like the Glocks so much? I can see about the Sig's but, not the Glocks. I don't like the safety in the trigger. Because, the best safety is the finger not on the trigger. I do love the Sig 226. Just asking, and it is cool that you do like them. I just don't.

I like them because they are practical, simple, and rugged. I also love the fact that you can easily find conversion barrels. I know they are starting to come out with conversions for other guns like XD's (and of course sigs) but glock conversions are everywhere, and they are so easy to swap out. As you mentioned above, sigs are my favorites.... and as I've said before... my sigs are like zippos (nice, and I try to keep them in great shape)... my glocks are like bics (disposable lighters, because I can throw them around, carry them anywhere, leave them in my truck, what ever, and I don't care if they get a little banged up. they will always work when i need them to).
I do like many other makes too, as long as they are good quality. I guess with glocks it comes down to simplicity, reliability, and the conversions.

Also I have friends that are Law Enforcement who use these on Patrol.
I believe these are standard issue for the F.B.I.
I installed a crimsontrace.com laser on it too, works great when you dial
in the laser.
The 23 in my opinion is the single best all around choice for a personal defense handgun! Grant it Glcks are not pretty,not fancy,but plain and simple they go BANG each time you pull the trigger!
