I so wanted to go send a few down range yesterday, but it just wasn't in the cards.

I hope the two most important women in my life never find out about each other, especially at the range!!!

I had a great weekend last weekend (Fathers Day) Myself and 7 of my coworkers, including a friend, got together for a little "Jungle Skeet Shooting" trip. At Oak Tree gun club there is a mountain top range with unmarked distances. Most of the time you don't know where the clays are coming from. 125 rounds or so. The shoulder didn't really bother me. I had never seen mini clays until last weekend. We didn't really keep score, just if we hit a few or not. I didn't do well in the beginning until one of the guys helped me a little. I was shooting high on everything. I managed to get my first "double" also! Family get-together all day Sunday. I ate carne asada until I fell asleep.

I went with a bunch of coworkers shooting Sporting Clays about 8-9 years ago, back around Philadelphia. As you said, most of us didn't bother to keep score, we just shot & had a good time. Two or three guys kept score, but they're all heavily into Clays and skeet. The rest of us just burned up ammo and laughed a lot. The guns used ranged from high dollar European O/U's to a Winchester 101, some Citoris, various semiautos, a Baikal (Russian) SxS, and an old Winchester 120 Ranger pump with 18" barrel. The guys with the cheap guns had as much fun as the guys with the Italian O/U's.

not only for the shooting but meeting very nice down to earth people, sharing information and checking what kind of goodies they have. Went to spring range clean up a few weeks back, did some work, than drank beer and bs'ed. I was surprised there was not more dads out with their kids at the range though on fathers day.
