This is on buckhorn, west corner is weaver mt. east corner (looking north east) is quail.. Can't see my shed its back at the end of the drive way between the house and the garage..
the road looks paved...yeah right... You can see the storm damage.. its still pretty much a mess.. take a look at how much sand has washed down and is covering the culvert in front of the drive way.. got about 2-3 ft of over burden to get rid of.. Were going to rerock or maybe blacktop this spring anyway so no bid deal.. you guys should have seen it BEFORE the damage was cleaned up...
Ya got a nice little spread there greg, and you said you are moving?
Yeah were thinking about it... were a long way from the girls, and they want us to move back.. so it might happen...depends on the housing market..
where are you going to move to ?
You couldn't be as happy as you are
where you are.
I've gotten back into reading in the last year or so, helps me take my mind off the days BS. How are you young man?
place you got there greg, I sometimes wish that I could move
out into the middle of nowhere, but for now I am stuck in the city :(
How close is your nearest neighbor?
Beautiful day today.. and yep we fell in love with the area first time we drove thru it.. The only thing is were so remote wife has to drive 45 min to shop, but we do have a little neighborhood little volunter FD.. Neighbors but far enough away that they cant see or hear, and we cant hear them.. That parts nice..
shit, out here in my neck of the woods in south central WA state all we have is volunteer FD.all it means is that they will show up to stir the fire so you can get down to serious BBQ...
I like the layout, and the porch. I grew up with a porch on our house, an on all the kinfolks' houses, and really like them. Where we live now doesn't have one, and I miss it. Also, we're in town now, which I didn't want, but it's really handy to Walmart and doctors, which is nice. All our emergency service here in Payson is excellent, which we really appreciate, and which we've needed.
