Years ago, when I was a kid, there were many, many of these around north TX and southern OK. People used them when they'd go on hunting or fishing trips, or to visit relatives.
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).
is some windows. I plan to make some brackets
so to have an add on room using a tarp so
to have a dressing room etc. Wife likes to
stand up to change and have a porta-potti.
I've never had one of these but I see all
sorts of changes could be made. Could even have
a shower in a corner of the add on room. We tend to
get dirty when camping.
I wonder if an air foiler would help, as greg said
it might take off LOL

The only thought i had when i saw the documentry was, would they have a tendency to "fly".. they have such an almost perfect "wing" that my bet is thiers not a lot of weight on those tires at highway speed.. Curious to know how they pull..
Be back later to talk with you all...or maybe put on some pics i took out at the range.
a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.
I didn't build this and that's not me lol
This is my pattern.
I found it on the net complete with plans.
mine will have some windows to use as gun ports.
I wonder, when you are traveling, pulling a camper,
is that considered your home by law? In my opinion
it would be because it is a structure and you are
living in it at the time. Just not receiving mail there.

Yup, In Texas, your travel trailer is the same as your home, when you travel, your hotel room is also.
(a-2) For purposes of this section, "premises" includes
real property and a recreational vehicle that is being used as
living quarters, regardless of whether that use is temporary or
permanent. In this subsection, "recreational vehicle" means a motor
vehicle primarily designed as temporary living quarters or a
vehicle that contains temporary living quarters and is designed to
be towed by a motor vehicle. The term includes a travel trailer,
camping trailer, truck camper, motor home, and horse trailer with
living quarters

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
Hell with the gun ports, or bud doesn't have a hair on his ass if he doesn't at least see if he could come up with plan's for one of his bowling ball mortars for this thing.. Think he was talking about using light weight ox tank stuff for the mortar.. All he'd have to do is put it on a swivel base.. Even if it was to much stress on the frame to fire, think of the visual on this..Guessing you could get just about any camp space you wanted to..

That's the funny thing about camping.. ever notice its either "real" folks, or tree hugger.. I bet everyone on here has had this experiance.. you pull thru a camp area, and its either a guy sitting on the bed of his truck drinking a beer with an NRA sticker on the cab.. Or a yuppie couple that have thier VW taped together with all sorts of bumper stickers that you really..and i mean REALLY want to use as targets.. Speaking of targets im getting ready to head to the range got any good ideas for me to draw on a target and post later..
