This is the gun my wife shot in competition in our younger days

This wasn't my gun but exactly like it. I traded it for a Chevy Van
It is a Ruger Black Hawk 44 Mag and she shot 100 yard targets with it

Nice piece, I have never shot a pistol with optics, i bet that takes a little getting used to.

Like I said this one isn't mine but it's twin, even the rubber grips.
Yes takes some getting used to but helps a lot. Back in the 80s
you didn't have a lot of choice on optics. Burris was the leader
on hand guns
The guys at the range flipped out when my wife drug that thing out
and started shooting.
I was on another range shooting clays with a Winchester double

i remember the long distance shooting in the 80's .. wasn't the javalina the furthest target on the metal target course..think it was..and the rig above was the favorite.. Keith bullets, the "creedmore" shootiing position.. where your laying down and bracing the gun on your lower leg... ya remember.. man your an old fart....

this will make here laugh...tell her shes on page 64.. I am anyway.. got an old one thats got NM on page 68.. guess they left something out on the new ones.. Maybe put the adds in the back..
