"Don't Be There!" When that fails--consult the above.
that sometimes we cannot, not be there, so in reality, the Boy Scouts have it right, too--BE PREPARED.
Ammo Ain't Cheap No More!!
small arms ammo (my opinion) :<)
just like stop signs, speed limits and red lights.
neighbor's ol' lady or shootin his dog or drinking his beer then pissin in the bottle.
i sow my own row so rules are just mear suggestions to me.I am a law abiding white male american father so I know very well what rules and regs are but I believe in fitting them to my life, not making my life fit them.
I'm with you. I've lived like this my whole life.
i am thinking about a little christmas contest.you email me with what you want to build as far as a rifle or shotgun and with the help of a few members,i will pick someone.i will do my labor free of charge but the weapon and any parts are your responsibility.we can work out the details.and any labor that i am not able to do(muzzle brakes, head spacing, parkerizing, etc)will be required to be paid for.any thoughts on this?
but I can't afford the gun or parts at the moment!!
the actual work could be done later.i am just trying to see if there is any interest in this is all.and you just cant be a few week member either.selection is done by a panel i select.if you dont meet the qualificatios, too bad for you.and if i do this for someone, they have to agree to pictures of their gun being posted on gunslot.
see what i was talking about re screw ups... wheres the mirror, probabley broke the puppy
Thats pretty much what it all comes down to, when you look your self in the mirror and can honestly say.. OK, i feel good about what i am. I can tell you that i have things in my past im not proud of, maybe we all do, don't know or care about what a person "was" I know that when i decided that my word was the only thing that really mattered (to me, and the man upstairs) I made a promise that i would never be disapointed when i looked in that mirror again. I still screw up, but i know i can look myself in that mirror and not have to appologize, because i believe in our "rules" and right or wrong I have my word, and the pride that comes from keeping it. How do politicians manage to live thier life.. maybe they just get rid of the mirrors.. Hey if this sounded preachy, forgive me, this boy has messed up as much or MORE than anyone else, but at least got the rules thing down.. and rule one is being honest with yourself.. see ya all in the am.. ps. Bob, thanks for the fwd on Powell... that poor family.
i would like the rifle or shotgun to be being built for a junior.a junior is a shooter under the age of 18,preferably in some sort of shooting league but if not oh well.but a good grade school age kid is a must.all these details will be worked out.i am just seeing what everyone thinks so far
will be back later!see ya
This thing comes around every once in a while, and most of the additions are worthwhile (first time I saw this no one called it a 'tactical' reload'). I wish they'd drop the last one for God's sake though.
Tell that .40+ crap to anyone in the SAS or Bill Jordan (9mmP and .357 fans, respectively). Besides, my 10mm doesn't start with a '4' either.
I like these. The last rule is a good one to remember. :p
The second to last one has to be the best!!
