Change you can truly believe in comes from the barrel of a gun---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ron Paul 2012----Vote the bastards out!---------------------------------
He could hit just about anything with it, said the sights got in the way of him seeing what he was looking at. lol
He actually taught me how to point shoot when I was a kid with a 22 High Standard and when I got a little older he had me shooting his Colt A1 without the sights.
If your of mind to and have a pistol you don't mind knocking them off of, it is a very good training setup for point shooting and instinctive shooting (pretty much the same thing, but, some get pissy when you say they are).
No sir, he fell into that bullet...
Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
Defensive shooting is usually within a few feet of the intended recipient. My eyes & arms will remember where the bullet is supposed to go reflexively.
For target shooting I really do use sights though.
I point shoot out to 45 feet pretty much beyond that I will actually lower my head down and put my eyes on both sights instead of shooting through the box.
Cliff used to give me hell about it, saying I would be more competitive if I actually used them more often. But, for the most part I shot IPSC and IDPA because I'm not allowed to shoot the local Corner Drug dealers head to head. LOL
No, I shoot the comp's as a means of tactical shooting on the move....

that kinda puts me at a disadvantage with my weak eyes. All those BIG adjustable target sights look great! Envy :<)
