like what I call a half hex. I have to make those at work all the time. In our case it is the big wigs not thinking things through all the way and having too few engineers. I hate the round spanner wrench nuts. most of the time they are a one time use because the holes are wore out from putting them on and taking them off once but in this case I hope they don't need to come off ever.
