Snake.....come over here and blow out your candle.....
Haven't seen snake today
maybe look'n at the pics... sorta got lost in there myself today
like he's logged on.
but haven't seen him talk
Hey Snake answer up boy
I have to agree with some one else, forgot who, that the grips on your airweight are killer!
My little J frame is kinda hard to handle using 158g rounds, that's why I seldom use them. Prefer 148 WC
so how are my friends tonight...anyone got an interesting story..
I'm not doing very well with my new SA
I can hit a gallon jug at 50 feet
These sights are hard to get used to
Home owner shoots and kills man
breaking in window, Dead man falls outside.
No charges filed
I thought you had to be in danger, he shot him
before he even got in the house
slappin' the monkey. For shame Snake, that'll grow hair on your...
Got a kick outa the comment ... gregs kinda kincky with the dress and the ladysmith...
Laughed my butt off... yep its an airweight.....dress is strapless....shows off my deltoids..
sheesh better watch it start'n to sound like ebear..
the dress was very funny
I've been shooting mine last 2 days,
I love it, action is very smooth
double bead sight is great
whats the mfg on it.. and daisy i carry it with +P and shoot them maybe once every two weeks, but truth is i really prefer the 130 fmj... by them in the 110 pack . If we could talk CW into reloading for us we'd have it made.
It's not really a target gun
I'll just have to get used to it
Bought a new Mossy and a SA 22
no money left
I'm a sorry dog
awhile I ordered a "Lee Loader" in .38SPL. I'll be rolling some 110SJHP
I like that round.. and just so happens ive got two boxes (50ea) of once fired brass and a 20 dollar bill ... ya think? and im serious as a heart attack here..that sound fair... I pay shipping as well. are you gona keep them a tad under +P i assume..
You should have ordered 357
and adjust it for 38spl then
Ive been busy, glad you guys remembered me B-Day. So lets wait till im 30 to hold hands and kiss. this is a gun site so whats new with everyone?
are you going to use Bulls Eye powder ?
Bulls Eye is good for target loads
no ones seen ya for awile....how was the bday...and hope it was a good one..
only other tool you need is a light plastic mallet. Buy a box of small pistol primers and a pound of powder, you're in business.
It's too easy to load your own and a lot easier than sending empties here and me shipping them back full.
I'm not sure the "die" would work right using .357 for .38's.
I used to use an old door and 2 saw horses
until I built a real bench
powder yet but am VERY interested in clean burning powder. Much of what I experimented with in the past was shotgun powder and was not very clean.
I had no idea, and im serious, cause all those i knew who were into reloading had a ton of money in it... if i can get into it that cheap you bet i will.. oh and that mushroom cloud ya see over to the sw would be me..
It was an awesome day. I went a got me lots of .410 shells and .22 shells and done lots of shooting. It was awsome. Sorry for not spending me B day here like last years. So hows life goin your way greg?
what kind of powder scale are you going to use
for years but as of late I've actually been using it for what it was made for LOL
Sure was handy having a place for all the dies, holders, lube, molds and stuff.
when my wife competed I had a spare bed room
we used for loading. I built a bench all the way
around it and had everything set up and ready
I don't have an extra room now. My youngest
daughter (39) moved back home 2 years ago
I need to check that out
scoop. Various size scoops can be had to change charges.
I never used the scoops because sometimes
the powder is packed tighter and throws you
off. I always weighed my powder. I also weighed
every loaded bullet to be sure no mistakes were made
such as a double charge. I saw one of those
click on the geezer to see trucks, views, etc. Shak (or somebody) had a post where we would all shoot targets at 15 yds...so since im "Finally" amung the picture posting squad i thought great...get some of my favorite load and have guns, targets, and camera all ready to go.. even took them out to the truck... Been raining every since...and today it snowed...and your pal greg is a cold weather whimp.. So maybe tomorrow if the suns out..
it's much easier on the metal parts than beating on them with a steel hammer :<)
Yeah, you actually DRIVE the empty cartridge case down onto the new primer LOL!!!
If you're a little nervous about that you can buy a tool that presses primers into place. I have 2 of them around here someplace but I can find the mallet easier :<)
Black Powder Mortars lol They are a blast
in more ways than one LOL
I've shot some bowling balls 1,000 yards
aspects of hand loading, if I crank my powder dispenser hard it tended to make the next charge light (?) You can only be too careful when being careful brings you to a full and complete stop :<)
course it doesnt take much, but... yesterday i found myself checking out diffrent sites related to this whole subject..you guys know how it is, if you havent reloaded its a bit intemadating.. you would thnk after all these years i would have gotten into it, but i always knew someone who did, so thought why waste the money..My brother did get into it for a bit.. think i told you the story of getting all these loads from him back when i was doing bowling pins.. ya gota crimp them puppys ya know.. he didn't and it wound up being an embarassing picture of 45 acp cases in one direction, and bullets and powder in the other.. For real... older brother, and i still rub this one in..
It doesn't take long to get confident
Just cant get in a hurry and have to
pay strict attention
I bet there is a vidio you can watch
that would help
I'll look around
And to be honest i should have done this years ago..right now i have the perfect set up..We have two out buildings.. one large shed, and the garage.. big work benches in either one.. I think the thing is that i always knew someone who did it, and had trust AND a great price.. Now with ammo prices going up its really stupid for me NOT to do this..besides i pretty much shoot one caliber.. we have the .32's and two 357's.. but a WHOLE lot of them 38's.. so just silly not to reload if i can get into it cheap.. Walk me thru what daisy was talking about.. tapping the cases onto the primer.. what about crimping
the primer is like a small cup and has to
be pressed into the primer hole in the
case evenly so it doesn't crimp. It just
has to be straight and even pressure
It will come to you pretty quick
