Thanks so much for the b'day wishes, and some of the neat ribbing. The official date is 2/18. It has been fun to look up what happened on subsequent 2/18's. I can say without fear of contradiction that nothing as momentous as my birth occurred!! [I have no modesty].
I want to thank Greg for that very nice comment. I did write that little message to encompass why we do what we do. I personally cannot abide a boom box or worse, a fake bugle run by batteries and operated by a fake bugler. [the stories of battery failure, wrong tapes and digital devices falling out of the fake bugles, are enough to make a person cringe with shame and anger on behalf of the families].
I will be talking with y'all in about three days or so, if my expected hangover goes away!!
