HELP URGENTLY NEEDED

To anyone who can help. A friend of mine is going to be flying American Border Patrols (Hummingbird) Light Aircraft. They fly at 35 to 70 MPH and 500 to 1000', doing surveying and photography of our border with Mexico. He checks fences and breaches.
There is one problem, the drug smugglers are armed and dangerous.
He needs a bullet proof style vest (Size L) and some kind of blast blanket for his legs and seat.
This is a volunteer thing for him, trying to keep our boarders secure. If anybody has one, not in use or really inexpensive, please let me know ASAP.
We are keeping the pilot and his location secret for his safety against reprisals.

PM me to let me know. Shall I just take them to Glenn Spencer? I need them back, but I have several level 3A vests and a couple ballistic panels that will stop 9mm or frag that I "liberated".

I doubt it

One, I'd probably exceed it's weight limit, and two, Glenn Spencer has already told me they don't do any active partolling, let alone armed work. I already asked. Oh well. Looks like the chance of an individual augmentee deployment to Afghanistan is geting better. 1SG called last night and said he wanted to hear directly from me that I wanted it and I had to send him my ERB to show him I had more than 12 months stateside. Woo Hoo!!!! I know it's going to be a letdown. There's GOTTA be an E7 out there that wants to deploy.
