Our LRLSRS design team plans to use either this or the Block 2 Kit if it is available in time for the release of our new family system of rifles.

Due to Victor's suggestion of the Night Force NXS 5.5 x 22 x 56 Scope we plan to change out one of the day scopes and replace it with this scope since it is already in use with many American Sniper Teams.

I have one of these kits for my M4A1 and I can hardly wait until the Block 2 set is available. I want to use the Block 2 kit not only form my HK 416, but I'm also planing on getting one to use for our LRLSRS Project, and maybe another one for my boys to share between them.

Will be interesting to see what they have for in it. Koji you have a HK 416? Now, I'm really jealous! LOL

I would really like to get a HK 417 to add to my collection too. Not just for me, but my second son really loves the 7.62mm x 51mm NATO Standard .308 round as you well know.

and yes you can get these kit commercially, but they are quite expensive, you have to have a special license to get one with the grenade launcher included i believe. Victor would know the answer to that I bet.

And yest these devices are all very useful and my sons have one to share between them. Things like the Day/Night scope are self explanatory. The laser range finder is self explanatory. The forward vertical grip is self explanatory. It comes with the full Picatinny Modular Rail system for mounting the optics and lasers and vertical grips and of course it comes with standard sound suppressor and flash hider etc. It's really a very well thought out and useful kit. It does not come with the M4 carbine however. That's extra. Btw, I hope you decide to go with the Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm. I honestly think this would be the perfect weapon for you and I have used the militarized one for some years now. But all you need is the civilian one and it's much less expensive. In fact the weapon is reasonably priced. And you can use that full SOPMOD Block 1 kit with it.

Yes, everything in the kit will work except I'm not sure about the grenade launcher. I know you want the M1A Socom16, but I seriously think you should reconsider and go for the Beretta CX4 Storm. It's a really sweet shooting weapon and I just know you'll love it.

Now I have the military version with a 4 position safety switch and my fires the super hot 9mm x 21 and or 22mm parabellum magnum round. But a civilian one for you with the standard 9mm x 19mm Lugar style parabellum round. Decent penetration and of course it won't blow right through the person and then through the walls of your house either, not like the para mags would.
I need coffee.

Is the Infrared Illuminator. That's a very useful piece of equipment. The kit also comes with the full Picatinny Rail attachment system. Everything in that kit is so well thought out. It was designed for use by Special Forces.

My second son made the coffee this morning and he likes it very strong. This stuff is like mud! But it tastes good and It'll give ya a great caffeine buzz.
