I did not know it either, but I do not know a lot of things. I read about that contraption in a German Gun magazine, for inventors, and they have a try out or something of that nature every year for them. Though I thought after ww2 they were banned from armys and stuff. But I am not up on that stuff anymore, As a matter of fact, I thought the peace treaty with the Japs included a ban of a force big enough to invade another country, forever, or somewhwere along them lines. obviously I am not to up on that stuff anymore. But I do know that we gave 4 billion to Japan for the earthquake and sunamis, to help and rebuild like after ww2. Yet what did they give to New orleans, and the twisters that devasted all those states. I do not here any country giving us a hand. Somebody please tell me if I am wrong? JC

Believe it or not this weapon is American.

Truth is this is first I have heard of WWII's end causing a shrink in armies to prevent invasion. 90 Nations have offered help for new orleans after Hurricane Katrina from what I have found on Google. But that was back in 2005.

My God is that a relief, that at least somebody else cares, about the other people in the world. About the the nations and not having an attack force, by Geneva convention rules. I should look that one up. Because that was a big deal with my dad, and the experimental center he worked for and a lot of other kids we went to school with. We were exempt from certain activities that reflected history in war time and especially movies, which we really wanted to see. It was the highlight of the day to see a movie at school. But all my family and a lot of others every year had to go to the teachers desk and fill out these forms and take home to parents and brought back sealed and to the principle. Always teased about it. Like we were special, or in trouble? I did not find out untill I was about 14 years old, and Dad sat us down and said if we were ever attacked again, the Government had to know where we were at all times. So we were protected. I used to hear stuff like the school gets money because your old man works for the Government? and so on, but there were a lot of kids whose parents worked out there. Funny thing, it is still an operational military base, guarded by MP's w/m/16's or whatever is newest, yet on the other end is a functional Atlantic city airport terminal, with planes flying in and out everyday and night. My brother is a, Hell I don't know even how high it goes anymore, last I heard he was an E-19 or 23? he is at the top of classifyication that way anyhow. But I am way out of touch anymore. friends die, and things change fast, in the Govmnt. And I do not miss it. JC PS I think I heard that Jeb Bush'es son who is half columbian is going up against OBAMA for Pres and Color will help. What an ASS to say that?

You got it! But its not a T148E1. The T148E1 was an Unreliable Grenade Launcher. These were used in Vietnam and are still in used but limited. There are less than 30 ever made. And the highest serial number is 50 but its a non-completed one.
