We used to have neighbors next door that were really weird. They were completely anti-social. The what I'll call the husband? Wouldn't talk to me at all but, was always trying to talk to the wife and kids. Weird, so, I had to tell them if they aren't careful they might be on the news in a bad way. It's my family, I'll take whatever precautions necessary. And I am telling you whatever that takes!

can go google a name or a pic, put it up here, and pretend to be knowledgeable about the subject and 'quiz' other members about it. I just find it a bit fatuous, is all.

who just showed up here, opposite coast, apparently with a lot of cash, and 'opened up' a rug cleaning business which has to pay shit. I got him a welcome mat that says "FBI witness protection program. Nobody by that name lives here."

He never denied it, but he told me once if shit happened he'd show up at my doorstep and steal my stuff. I told him I had both an AR-15 and an AK-47. The AR was more accurate, but the AK shot a shitload of rounds faster. I wondered which one I should give my wife because she was such a good shot, so bring it on.

His wife visibly cringed and he's never brought up the subject again.

shit happened I'd be home. Besides, it isn't that easy. There's no obvious sign that says, "Please break in here."

one with slugs is far worse than a .45 L.C. as long as you can hit the target. What do you plan to use it for?

Not all Nazis were bad people. I am not a Nazi, but let's be clear about who the Nazis were. They were members of a political party. In order to do anything worthwhile in 1930s and '40s Germany, you had to be a member of the ruling party. It's the same thing as the Ba'ath Party in the middle east. You want to be a University professor? A powerplant manager? You want that promotion so you can have a nice future for your family? You join the party. Not all Nazis were Jew gassing, gypsy-killing people. While I have no sympathy for anyone who laid an unjust hand on another person, for any reason, You should look at history from an objective view, not what "The Inglorious Basterds" teaches us.

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.
