I heard from someone I work with that

it is real...a family pet that got to 1800 pounds, then got loose and someone killed it. With what weapon it was killed...no idea. WILL check snopes.

I have been retired since 2000

see my age an wisdom allow this idle time. At 65 I have earned the right. You need more practice than here allows you. Monday a day off? Nobody needs welding on Monday or Pawns. There are 7 days in a week. I used to work 7 days without a thought. That is what entitles you to retire early. Wise investing helps also. When you can't afford the shipping on an M1 Carbine, tells me you need to keep busier.
Just a thought.

I see your point. But being on crutches only limmits what i can do. So on days off I go to therapy to get complete control of my lrgs and soon i will walk freely again. (1-2 Weeks)

It is real, EXCEPT for this, it WAS raised. ALSO it was not him who truely got it, his father did, the animal was wounded enough that the kid walked up and shot it in the head to kill it with the pistol.
He was on Jay Leno, but didn't tell the real story, which he then did tell soon AFTER being on the show.
