Get this Lew..the half moon clips for the Smith 45's work great.. i got some from the guy i bought the gun from, and while its a trick to get the acp rounds into the half moon..(you or anybody have info on how to do this easier) telling ya when you drop that bbl the ejector throws them back with "authority".. really would make a pretty fast reloader if i could get some of the half moons that are one piece like Jerry Micolic (sp!) thats what he uses and just throws the whole thing in the cylinder.. as it is its a quick reload with two half moons..

whats up with your 380 Daisy.. you up and shooting or what.. course any Raven news is good to.

less flammable. Cabela's opens next Thurs so will go load up on cheap ammo for all the artillery.
Still need SWC bullets, Lg Pistol Primers and powder to roll some plinking .45ACP. Shooting FMJ 850 FPS rounds is getting to be like work, the SWCs makes it more enjoyable and affordable.
That what you're using in the Webley?

nothing yet.. but..

i begged Lee to roll me some padre plinkers in 45.. i haven't shot it yet cause of the CUP being high with the ACP and im a bit nervious about shooting it with FMJ adding to that pressue issue, the lead makes it safer, and vaq has these sorta down loaded, thier conical semi wad cutter, so they should be perfect.. i was going to shoot it, but the gun was on consignment from the family and they had NO idea if it even fired.. it locks up and cycles great the hammer makes a nice dent in the primer (used brass) so it should be good.. they couldn't even tell me if it was set for 45 acp or not.. but the cyl has been cut back, and when loaded the cyl turns fine, so it "should" be ok.. just the pressure issue..

5 years after letting a student video her banging 5 kids.
185g SWC should be okay for your Webley, they probably have lighter bullets, I've not checked.

Yep, been to Cabela's a few times, Onalaska, Nebraska first time, Buda Texas was the last. Serious problem, "where do I goe first????" LOL!

can't remember Lew.. you ever fly radio.. i wasn't Q'd on it, but it was easy enough i got to spend some time doing it anyway.. I know you had the "chef" dutys.. i don't think we ever had anything but brown bags.. and they really were pretty lousy. Quick note on this.. Mil channel had a three part Navy special.. the first was Naval aviation.. as you can guess i got all excited.. nope all CVA stuff.. no VP's.. .

speaking of mil channel.. do you get it.. if so then your on Direct tv.. do you get velocity that covers all the old sports cars, and auctions.

short sea story.
We were flying up the coast, Tonkin Gulf in the middle of the night looking for smugglers. Radioman was asleep, came time for a posit report, "Rhino Rhino Rhino, dusty moment"
I could see the lights of the base I was calling into, no response, I tried several more times then finally I got an answer from.........Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, California! They said they'd relay the posit report for me. Cool, huh?

Nope, don't get the military channel, did for a few weeks but it disappeared (?)

this ones short to..

time for bed.. I never flew these missions but others flying the same market time mission you were on did.. deal is that we were "spost'a" get quidance from some sort of VN "central" when they left out of utapau .. not sure if this was Danang or what.. just that they were to "handle" the flight till they got on station.. deal is the crews could never get them to come up.. so after awile they just made a couple of attemps and forgot it.. nobody seemed to care.. and they sure are making good shirts these days.. wow..

ok..late and time for bed.. good talking to you Lew.. later my friend.
