After the base was done and the layout is completed.
Don't ya think a regular tombstone would have been ok..
what's the offset Vaq? I used to put batter boards at the same elevation as the forms were going too,but some of those batter boards are not level so maybe they aren't set that way,I bet your using the existing slab as a benchmark too.
Damn slope. We had 5 different TOC elevations by the time it was all set.
Benchmark was set using a lase level to TOC at highest elevation. 1' exposure to existing grade.
makes sense, typical Texas construction my friend,i suppose those flagged rods are UG?
Flagged rods are fence corners and "guard stakes" for folks who can't see past the hood.
We had 15 drill piers and 3 spread footers on this job. Still have about 4 yds of mud to go for signs, gate stops and piddling shit.
Just the thought of that high Voltage stuff makes my skin crawl. Nice clean site. what kind of a drive you have??
If you mean my truck, it's a Chevy Avalanche.
Grave markers, sheesh, I can tell you aint in construction. I guess I do need to come help ya anchor down that porch!
No, How far of a drive to work???
300 miles on friday and sunday. 18 miles from the RV to jobsite.
just before tripping on the string.
Exactly. This dirt don't taste as bad as some! LOL
Guys i have to scoot..
Pard the roof is still on the porch, but I sure would feel better about it if i could tie it down a bit more.. If there was a way to do it with out messing up the looks i'd have cable over the top of it in a heart beat.. Gloria has "other" thoughts on this one.. At least if the big one ever comes thru and that 14X40 roof is out in the back 40 i can do the "told ya so" thing..
Will check back later and see how Ace is .. You all take care..
Now you've got me laughing.. thanks Pard.. Thats going to go down in the gunslots list of choice comments..
