This is what all of us have thought all these years.
How many times have you seen on TV news a story about a semiautomatic firearm being used in a crime, then they show a picture of a .38 Special?
Or when they talk about an "assault rifle" being used, then show a picture of a bolt action hunting rifle?
Plus, they just don't give a damn if they get it right or not.
I tried to explain to a TV reporter once just what an assault rifle was, and he either couldn't or wouldn't understand what I was saying. He sure had a nice hair style, however, and lots of white teeth.
