Judge rules that Islam not a factor in Buffalo wife beheading case

Of course not. What are you, some kind of Islamophobe? Why, Christians behead their wives by the dozen every year! Why would the fact that the book Muzzammil Hassan regards as sacred mentions beheading twice (Qur'an 8:12; 47:4) have to do with this? Everybody knows that Islam is a Religion of Peace™!

"Religion not a factor in wife beheading, judge rules," from Associated Press, March 5:

[...] Muzzammil "Mo" Hassan is tentatively scheduled to stand trial later this month for the death of his wife, Aasiyah Hassan, last year....
Hassan's attorney plans a defense that includes claims that Hassan was abused by his wife and emotionally out of control. But prosecutors are fighting the use of a psychiatric defense.

The Pakistan-born Hassans started Bridges TV in 2004, in part to dispel negative Muslim stereotypes....

Whoops!

"But she wouldn't shut up, your honor. Haven't you ever thought about doing it to your wife?" Case dismissed.

Just don't get online much lately. Been having more and more disagreements with the Ford, so a lot of my time is taken by that bastard. I am very, very knowledgeable of my brakes now after the last three days.

That it is.

My wife has to pick up ANOTHER caliper mounting bracket for my right front brake. Caliper slide pin is stick. I found out the truck is from Michigan, so that explains why flakes of rust were coming off the rear rotors as I was banging them loose with a big-ass mallet

Islam

is inexplicable to me. Perhaps it's because I don't know enough about it. I hear Muslims talk totally rationally at times, then I hear these seemingly quite insane radicals. I've seen videos of their schools where all the kids study is the Quran, endlessly repeating it (chanting). Do the leaders of these schools, and the sects that control them, actually think that the kids are getting anything that will help them succeed in the real world, or do they just want to train them to be mindless robots/automatons? I worked with an Egyptian who was an exceptionally nice person, and who totally condemned the radical extremists. I worked with a young Afghani woman who considered herself incredibly lucky to have escaped Afghanistan, and who totally and unconditionally hated the Taliban. These two both said that the extremists are in the minority of overall Islam, but who in some countries (like Iran) have tremendous influence in the government because the more moderate Muslims are afraid of being killed if they oppose them at all. Then I see the hatred between various sects of Islam (Sunnis vs. Shiites) where they desire annihilation of one another, and both claim to be the true representatives of Allah. The only time they seem united is in their hatred of Israel and all Jews, and of the US and England.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).
