Old School AR
How about some details?
It's just lovely. Visibility about a mile. Snowing on the mountains (about a mile from me), but not down here in the valley yet. It's snowed a little overnight for the last 4 days. I'm sick of it, but what the hell - I just have to put up with it.
I hope it's even more beautiful in your corner of Arkansas. What's happening in Springdale?
predicted for Monday, hope it misses us.
Gun show in Springdale Sat & Sun and I can hardly wait. Been draggin' around Lowe's buying home improve junque for 3 weeks and am up to my ears in the stuff Mrs. Wanted. Tomorrow I meet the construction crew and get them started on the bathroom overhaul, after that it's kitchen countertops, then rip out living room paneling, do texture and paint. Pantry in utility room and build in for the new microwave over the stove. Not been a m/w oven there b4.
After all that, carpet then we can move in. After move in the outside work begins, Groan!!!
Are you going to film all this work and put it on TV
Home make over
Gee I see at least 50k changing hands
good luck partner
get a bunch of Mexicans and spend half of that!!!!!!
tortillas, beans & $5 day They still are not worth it, they keep shittin' behind the hedge and trying to screw the cat.
Contact home make over addition
They may pay you to film it with that much work
as interesting as that would be I'm thinking it would be more hassle than it's worth.
I am looking for gov grants to cover a little of it. We'll see.
In the mean time I'm scared to do my regular check book balance act :<)
pussy is pussy
It's late, need sleep. See you guys later!
That's not quite right
There is some out there that will make you happy
There is some out there that will kill you
You got to be choosey these days
I've seen places in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho that I would
love to have a log cabin with an attached barn full of
suplys and fire wood.
I had a friend lived in Montrose Colo. He had a cabin looking
over a big valley and had about 30 feet of glass on the front
Looked like a big picture.
Went fishing in the southwest area of Utah when I was a kid, Beaver, Utah and the Seiver River. Absolutely beautiful, caught a lot of trout saw a lot of deer, and almost killed by a logging truck.
My wife would love a place like you're talking about. A log cabin up on a mountain, in the woods, with a good view of more mountains, a big place to garden (with a deer fence), and a BIG 4WD to get in & out with. I'd prefer a place a lot lower down (because of snow), but with a mountain to use as a berm for shooting into.
We went white water rafting in the river just south of yellowstone.
In July the water was 28 degrees and we are rafting
Damn what some dummies
How rough are those rapids? My brother-inlaw goes allot.....something always stops me from going.....its called fear of drowning....lol
They have a level 4 and a level 5
We went on the 4 it was rough enough
Thrill of a life time
ebear that fear of drowning is way up there with me
I can't raise my left arm above my head so
swimming is out of the question bit they do have
some cool life jackets
put it on my bucket list.......along with naked twister with Barbara Bush
Back when I was living in Sapulpa, OK (and still had an FFL) I used to have a table at the Springdale gun show. Always did well. Good people there.
Where is Sapulpa ? I don't have a map handy ?
I used to live in Broken Bow
15 white people and 500 Indians lol
It's just south of Tulsa. Big employer used to be the glass plant. Indians there are almost all Creek. Over in Skiatook (west of Tulsa) they're mostly Cherokee.
If you think your kids play rough go watch a bunch of
Choctaws play Don't know how I survived but made
me tough for sure
