When I lived in Albuquerque, a woman drove up on a sidewalk, and took out a family. She done it cause she wanted to. It happened on Tram Way Blvd. the speed is 45- 50mph out there.

HAMPSTERW, I went looking for the post you refered to, I found it and looked at it.
My problem with the sheriffe is simple. He is given X amount of money to feed the prisoners.
Lets say it is 7 dollars a day. if he has 100 prisoners a day that is 700 dollars. Now if he can feed the prisoners for 5.00 a day that is 200 dollars a day he puts in HIS pocket.
Remenber, we are talking about a jail, not a prison. Not all the people in jail are guilty,
a lot
are waiting trial. Some of them are not guilt! Should someone that hasnt committed a crime be punised with spoiled food? I think not. If it were a prison were all have been found guilty, I could give a shit less. I have no soft spot for criminals, I am a firm beliver in the death penality, but it should be swifter than it is today.

Those prisoners are treated just as well as our military folks on the front line.

cyclists are like drivers, some good, some bad. I can't count how many times some asshole figures that red lights don't apply to him because he is a cyclist and the thing that really pisses me off is that if I hit him, I am liable.....same can be said for drivers.
